Dhaka- The textile producers are enthusiastic about expanding their share market globally on the grounds of the wide range of products they make and the quality of their products. They want to showcase their talent on a universal platform. In order to promote and brand their textiles, some of the manufacturers are taking part in the fair organized in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar known as DITF (Dhaka International Trade Fair). This would help them to gain exposure to the foreign and international customers as well as to the native ones.
Common home textile essentials are exported by Bangladesh such as pillow and cushion covers, bed sheets, curtains, cotton table napkins, pillows, cushions, carpets, mattresses and so on. The pavilion-in-charge of the Bexa Fabrics, Mohammad Zakaria said that their company has a great variety of collections for men, women and children which they have put on view. The Bexa Fabrics sell their items at wholesale prices at the fair and has gained a fairly positive popularity because of the fine quality of their products and due to the competitive pricing they present. Classical Hometex Ltd, another company whose pavilion-in-charge, Rezaul Haque Raju said that their primary aim is to attract the interest of the foreign clients and customers. They have more than 500 varieties of bed sheets with varying prints, colour combinations and patterns that they have put on display. The price range starts from Tk700 - tk1500 for the ordinary ones, whereas the costlier ones can range from Tk2000 – tk4500. The general manager of Father Textile Mills claimed that they have a huge assortment of suit and shirt fabrics and that the foreign customers often visit to check the superiority of their products.
All the manufacturers are eager to increase their brand value in the share market and export their manufactured textiles.
